Just a few miles away from the historic city of Bath, the racecourse attracts spectators from all over the country. You’ll be able to spot plenty reputable trainers and jockeys on the live streamed footage of the course.

The racecourse became one of the most attractive racing facilities in the country after a major revamp in 2016. A multi-million-pound investment upgraded the racecourse, and right now it presents all the necessary requirements for it to be considered an elite racing attraction.

The newly opened Langridge Grandstand offers possibilities of fine dining; Multiple bars, food trucks, and a canopied roof garden from where the races can be watched. There are ample facilities that allow for groups, private or corporate parties.

The organisers have gone the extra mile to create a racecourse that has something for every spectator. They have recognised the importance of racegoers’ leisure time while watching some exciting races.

The Royal Crescent Restaurant which can be found at the Bath racecourse has gathered a lot of positive reviews since its establishment. The setting is considered very luxurious, while also offering exquisite panoramic views of the racecourse from its terrace.

With Executive Head Chef John Williams at the helm, the restaurant offers a diverse menu. By mixing important British cuisine staples with the Chef’s personal touch, guests can satisfy their taste buds between races with a wide array of luxurious meals.

The Bath racecourse offers a multitude of events all year round for racegoers, in order to ensure their entertainment. As well as the racing, they provide many activities and events; These are typically scheduled for holidays such as Christmas, Easter and the May Day bank holiday.

Bath Racing: Course Layout

The Bath racecourse presents a left-handed oval track of one mile four furlongs and 25 yards; It has a home straight of nearly half-a-mile.

We would say that Bath has to be one of the stiffest courses in the country; This is due to the course’s really difficult uphill climb.

Award Winning

The racecourse’s facilities and hospitality were duly recognised in 2016. It managed to win the “Racing Post Readers’ Award” at the annual Racecourse Association Showcase & Awards event.

The award takes into consideration the experiences that fans and guests have had at racecourses all over the country; The prize goes to the facility that managed to have the best customer service in the eyes of the public.

In the same year, their fine dining restaurant was also nominated for the “Food and Beverage Award”. Unfortunately, they couldn’t also get that one in the bag.

Size isn’t everything; The Bath racecourse has slowly but surely become one of the best smaller racecourses in the country.

The revamp from 2016 has really changed its look and feel and you may get a glimpse of these on the Bath horse racing live stream. The current facilities were built in order to offer all racegoers an enhanced day at the races.

Bath Races to Watch

The racecourse has come a long way since its early days in terms of what’s on offer. The number of yearly events has been raised to 22 from the initial number of one weekend, every year.

The Lansdown Fillies’ Stakes and the Beckford Stakes are two of the most important races held at the racecourse annually. Both races field high quality runners and are always very competitive – particularly in the last couple of years.

The Cider Festival, which is generally scheduled for early June, is also one of the highlights of their annual calendar.
